PLEASE HELP THE ANIMALS!
You are visiting this website because you love animals and want to see what is happening to help them. Are we right? Well here is the best way to help save the animals and will only take 3 to 4 hours a month. VOLUNTEER - We need volunteers to help at our adoption events that are at Petco on Saturdays. You can hand out flyers, help answer questions or just entertain the kitties or dogs. Our fosters do so much in caring for these little ones and taking them to the events, but really need the help of volunteers. Even if you can only come for an hour. YOUR TIME CAN HELP SAVE AN ANIMALS LIFE! Another way to volunteer is to help at the Briar Creek Petco. We now have kitties there. We need people to help clean condos and play with the kitties. All supplies are there along with toys to play with the little ones. It takes only 1 hour of your time.
PLEASE VOLUNTEER! The animals need you.Mia and her kitten

BE A FOSTER SAVE A LIFE
Franklin County Humane Society uses volunteers to foster the homeless dogs and cats in our county until they find their forever home. We need loving homes like yours to continue helping these animals in need.
This is really great for families with children. It helps them see how important it is to take care of our petsand to find that perfect home for them. For a short
period or long term, please consider helping an animal!
FAQ’s:
Can I become a foster volunteer if I have pets of
my own? We welcome pet owners asfosters, in fact it really helps
foster animals with socialization if they live with other pets
in their foster homes. We will work with each foster parent individually to
match them with the best foster based on their personal pets' personalities
and life styles.
How long do animals need to stay in foster care? Typical foster stay is two
weeks to several months. We go to adoption events every Saturday to show our fosters. We also have a program for the kitties called Meet Your Match to help adopters to find the right kitty for their family.
What expenses are involved with foster care? Families provide housing for the animals in their care. They also provide exercise, socialization and lots of love! The Franklin County Humane Society provides all vaccination, medications, spay/neuter. We alsoprovide food for the animals in your care. The most important thing is you are helping save an animals life!
